Made a new icon! Heee. :) I didn't have any quite like this. I think it works well for things like evil plots or going slowly insane.I finished the dishcloth for droogula today. I don't know when I'll have time to do more for him so I'm just going to give him the kitchen stuff I did at MikeBash tomorrow.I need to haul ass and try to crochet a corset before the Ren Faire. Hopefully ma was able to pick up the boning and I can start on that Sunday. It's tunisian style, so it should be an interesting project.I should have everything I need for making brownies and cookies for MikeBash tomorrow. The boy is wanting to go see Batman, and at the risk of sounding blasphemous I couldn't give two shits about seeing it since I had that little rent-money scare (I've managed to recover all but around $70 of the $210 bank charges from the incident). I don't want him to feel like I don't want to go out with him, and I don't want him to feel bad that I won't let him pay for me, but...he's temping for godsakes. And he knows I can't save money for shit, too. -_-Where was I?Oh, yeah. Brownies and Cookies. Planning on getting up super early to make them. I'd have done them tonight, but I didn't want them to be hard before they even hit Mike's table.And another thing, I wanted to get to the party early so I'd have a chance to play Rock Band with new people. I can't get drunk because of my knee medication, so I think I'm entitled to a little Rock. Am I right? The first was Artemis Fowl by Eoin Colfer. I'm always interested by how people portray the fae, and of course I dig when a story focuses on the villain and has you sympathizing and cheering for him as he goes about executing his evil schemes (cough, cough). I've already started in on the second book, and it looks like it'll be even more fun than the first!The other book I finished is Field of Dishonor by David Weber. It's book 4 of the Honor Harrington series, and unlike the first three books this one has no epically speck-fucking-tacular starship battle or the tactics that go along with it. No, this volume was entirely political intrigue, taking place planet-side for the whole book. And that says a lot about how goddamn good this series really is, because I hate politics normally. =D Will need to get book 2 back from E and S so I can steal book 5 from my dad.50bookchallenge Counter36/ 50 books. 72% done!Edit: Annnnd another icon!
